Deleting a customer
A customer can have many statuses, Active, Deleted, Merge or Purged.
Like many Delete actions in Holray deleting a customer does not pysically remove the customer it only marks them as deleted as the record may still be associated with a booking.
A deleted customer will not appear in normal searches.
Taking our customer 180 from the Editing a Customer page, we can click the Delete button and we will be presented with a confirmation message:-
Clicking Cancel will drop us back to the customer record, clicking Delete will return us to our table of Search results. N.B. The search was for Active customers and as such the list no longer shows our, now deleted, record 180.
We can search for Deleted records, by specifying status Deleted in our Search criteria, as below:-
This will return a list of Deleted records matching our criteria, in this case Record 180:-
Clicking the record in the list will open it as normal, but the record itself will be flagged with a red warning band, as below:-
We can undelete a customer by clicking Undelete.
