Setting up payments online.

The system is a back end booking system with a front end availability calender which can be uploaded onto your website. It can be set to be hold only, when your customner books online, for you to follow up with a call, but you can also set your system to take payments. There is a lot to set up, as the payment card industry has many operating requirements and you will need to follow an application process.

The system uses a payment gateway. This is provided by Opayo. We only use this gateway as we believe it to offer the most flexibility. You will therefore need to apply for an account with Opayo to use their gateway.

To take payments through your website you will need an Ecommerce account. To take payments over the phone, through your system, and allow some agents to take monies on your behalf over the phone through your system, you will need a MOTO account (Mail Order Telephone Order). Most banks provide these, as does Opayo, as do many other providers. You can use whoever you want - they offer different costs per transactions so you will need to do some investigating. You may already have one.
